March 20, 200917 yr Previously I have followed some other posters advice on how to set up FSUICP's weather settings to try to eliminate the punishing wind shifts I was suffering at high altitude. I have not used the Beta2 pach long enough to know if these issues have been resolved but I am interested in hearing from Hi Fi if they have any recomended settings or if they suggest just turning the weather functions off in FSUICP now? I am using registered version 4 if it makes any difference. Thanks in Advance,Robert Thomason

They have recommended FSUIPC4 settings. Good luck... Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
March 20, 200917 yr Robert,Re-read the sp1 b394 beta2 post at the top of this forum or the included Readme file. They have recommended FSUIPC4 settings. Good luck...Thanks I missed it the first go around, but they only give a few recomendations for the .ini file. I am talking about how or what settings to select using the registered version under the "Clouds tab" and the "wind smoothing tab" which have alot of choices I'm not sure should be used or not?
March 21, 200917 yr Thanks I missed it the first go around, but they only give a few recomendations for the .ini file. I am talking about how or what settings to select using the registered version under the "Clouds tab" and the "wind smoothing tab" which have alot of choices I'm not sure should be used or not?NOTE: PMDG Aircraft and Potential Turbulence Sensitivity ProblemsWhen using PMDG 747, MD-11 or other high-sensitivity aircraft, turbulence effects can result in stability problems and potential s-turn autopilot hunting. Both FSUIPC turbulence effects (enabled when FSUIPC wind smoothing is enabled) and FSX internal turbulence effects (used by ASA and FSX itself) can cause these problems. In order to eliminate these harmful effects, it is recommended to minimize/disable turbulence effects in both FSUIPC (if in use) and FSX. FSUIPC (if installed and FSUIPC wind smoothing/turbulence effects are enabled) - Edit These FSUIPC.ini settings:TurbulenceRate=0.5,2.5TurbulenceDivisor=40,40,80,80FSX - Edit the following FSX.cfg setting (under [Weather]):TurbulenceScale=0.500000FSX
