I was just wondering how do you know what number to select in order for the pilot to give you the sid or star approach speach. It just says select the number for your sid or star but there is no refrence to that.

Does anyone have an answer to this question. Maybe I did not explain it right Here is a picture of what im talking about. It says that i need to pick the number that will represent the Sid (departure) But nowhere in the Manuel does it say where to find these numbers that will represent the departure that i will be taking. Also after pages later on the approach I have the same thing for the star. I just want to know where I get this information from. I might have just over looked it.
