Older processors and vid cards can handle everything maxxed out in FS9 now.
March 31, 200917 yr All settings at highest, Nhancer set to 8xS AA, 16x AF. Edit your fs9.cfg properly to give you sharpest terrain textures.Check this thread:http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/Ya...231802901/15#15
April 1, 200917 yr Author Nice reply guys, sorry what is nchancer? 8xS?Thanks for the link too!Anyone know what type of frames I could expect with everything maxed out including world of ai and using heavy add ons e.g. pmdg, level d at aerosoft heathrow, frankfurt etc...?My PC should be custom built soon and I just want to know realistic fps before getting my hopes up!Thanks again for your help.
April 1, 200917 yr I'm sure youll be able to lock at 60fps and have that constant in all places. Not need for any higher than that.nHancer is a program you use to set the settings of your nvidia graphics card. Download it and use it..dont worry about using settings in the default nvidia control panel, nhancer is much better. x8S is a setting for AA in nhancer, it smooths out jagged lines. Combine that settings in 8x AF and thats a good place to start. Search around for nhancer settings for fs9, it has been brought up a bunch of times. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
