April 13, 200917 yr I'm sorry Ron, in the process of trying to fix this menu problem and figure out how to quote properly in these new forums I missed your post. I will try different Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering settings now. Since you had this problem before and were able to fix it I am optimistic about doing the same.Try Two things:1. in FSX display settings make sure only one video cardis listed of the the disaply adapter and that it looks right, if not delete your fsx.cfg or take a look at it and edit (if you just del it, FSX will rebuild you a new one that you will have to adjust yoursettings to).2.In the nvidia display control panel manage 3d settings tab: make sure it is set to "texture filtering" = Highquality (It looks like you have a setting that is very low in quality in Level Of Detail or LOD).Hope this helps you.
April 13, 200917 yr Hi FolksJeremy -Are you running the display at native res ?From the screenie it looks like it's a much lower res.Set both your desktop & FSX res to 2048 x 1152 (32 bit).Check your FPS variance.Variance should be sub 1%. top 4 utilising processesdwm.exe == Desktop Window Manager - Controls Vista's Aero & Glass visual effects. In the root of your FSX folderyou'll find a Readme.htmcontaining installation instructions. It includes Vista specific instructionsrelating to DWM & Aero/Glass.Ensure you've applied those updates & settings. Also, if not doing so already, try running FSX in ful screen mode.HTHATBPaul ODG Preview
