Displaying Airports

I recently followed the instructions for the attached addition to the base Standard XML file that came from Horton's hints printed in my Computer Magazine's April/May edition. I, however, am unable to display the Airports but I did not have any negative results,either. Does anyone have any ideas or a different way to display airports in FSX.
