May 14, 200323 yr :-newbie As I'm new to this inc Simming please understand what would seem to be a dubm question. How can I select reverse thrust on say the 777 upon landing to slow myself down, I've got the hang of the spoilers and the autobrake but cannot get the reverse trust to work. Tried looking at the assignments etc for the keyboard and my joystick... Num3 or F3 are assigned to decrease throttle but the reversers do not engage. Thanks for any help.Stewart (UK)

May 14, 200323 yr Stewart:toolbarAlternatively, you can program your throttle by opening FSUIPC under the MODULES section of the FS 2002 toolbar. There is a page you can select where reverse thrust parameters are assignable to your throttle past a certain travel point as you pull the throttle back to land. I used to mark the reverse thrust point with a little dab of white-out, so I knew exactly where Idle thrust ended and reverse thrust began....You don't want to engage reverse thrust by accident on short final!!Good Luck, http://www.expedia.com/pubspec/images/airlines/smNW.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZMinneapolis, MN PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
May 14, 200323 yr Hello Stewart,Be sure to push and hold the F2 key when activating the reverse thrust. Just pushing it and letting go will not deploy the reverse thrusters(At least on mine, it doesn't). Then when you don't need them anymore, quickly push the F1 key.Hope this helps,Larry:-)
