May 4, 200917 yr For some reason RC4 will not give me a wx report or a clearance by FSS. I've filed a flight plan CNY3 YSM CYTZ. All the frequencies for CYTZ come up on the controller screen. A flight from CYTZ-CYQA works OK though. I'm running RC ver 4.3.3845 on a networked machine with FSUIPC ver. 3.90, XP and FS9. I've not had this problem before. I've received FSS clearances on several occasions.

May 4, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the reply JD. There are no freq. for CNY3. The RC window on the FS screen shows 2-FSS WX and 4-CLR by FSS but I get no response from keying either one of them.

May 30, 200917 yr Hi,I had exactly the same problem. So I found this post and made a .log file as suggested. I had a quick look at the log file and found that there was a frequency of 118.80 for FSS. I tuned COM 1 to this frequency and from then on the FSS calls have worked.Don't know if this is something I have done, or not read, but I am happy I have it working, so I thought I would post and let other know. Thanks,Ian
