Thanks Patrick. My trouble is that I can't run the GUI. It flashes a black command box but won't stay open.

I have UAC turned off. When I try to run the GUI it only flashes briefly, the window will not stay opened.

I can't set up a batch file as I cannot even run the GUI! All I get is a short DOS flash..it won't stay open.

I have one and it works fine!! Using FSUIPC I have it set up for landing and taxi lights,nav and strobe lights as well as switching between Nav, Comm, Xponder and Altimeter on my GF-46 I'd love to have a pair of GF-166's

That sounds great! I've been holding off on the 208 waiting to see if Carenado would do for it as they did for the 185.

Unfortunately, if you open up the options tab you will find no mention of wilco/feelthere erj/legacy/ejets, only the wilco/ft a320 and b737.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am definitely tending towards the LD 767. I was thinking of applying to American Virtual Airlines and with my current hours on Vatsim I would only be able to fly the Super 80 if I was hired by them. I'd need some more hours to step up to the 767. Forgot to mention that this is for FSX. Only recently switched from FS9 but there is no going back!

Is my money better spent on the Level D 767 or Flight 1's Super 80? I'm mainly interested in realistic systems and flight dynamics modelling as opposed to eye candy.

While searching for the .log file I discovered that I have a botched installation. I moved it from another machine. So the first step will be to reinstall RCV4!

I'm running RC/FSX over a network with RC on a Win XP machine and FSX on a Win7 64 bit machine. I'm finding the response times on the screen to lag behind the keystrokes and that when I hit 4 or 5 to request an altitude change RC locks up and must be closed. Anyone else have this problem?

I've successfully installed ASA into my Win7 machine. One problem I've discovered is that when I click on the change flight plan button the window won't open on top of the main screen. It definitely is open but I can't get it on top and I can't minimize the main window!

Thanks Ken but that doesn't work either. Tried that left clicking the empty space trick as well but that didn't work. Even tried adding the lines in the scenery.cfg file to no avail. What gets me is that the .bgl files are in the addon scenery\scenery folder (which is line three in the scenery library) but for some reason FSX just doesn't see them.

Tom. Have you been able to install any addons that don't come with an installer? I'm totally baffled with Win 7 and FSX! I've copied bgl files into my addon scenery folder (I can see them there with windows explorer) but they don't show up in the list of airports in the sim! I've turned off UAC, tried ADDIT Pro, still no luck!

Wow!! That's quite a thread goin' on over there! Seeing that ES offers a moneyback guarantee I'm gonna spring for the FS9 version. It's the systems modelling and FMC that I'm interested in. Hopefully the MFD ND and PFD are legible. They are definitely not in Ver 1.0. Not on my system anyway.
