  1. It's not really much of a problem. Just doesn't seem to flare well before touchdown.FS Flightkeeper always critiques the landing as a "disaster"!! Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!
  2. Silly me!! I purchased and installed the Capt. Sim 757 FMC expansion ( I already had the other "blocks" installed). Now my PSS 757 ctd. All was well until the Block F upgrade. The reason that I bought the CS is the horrible autoland of the PSS bird. Wanted to see if CS was any better. Any ideas? I've uninstalled the CS 757 but can't fix the ctd of the PSSDean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!

  4. You're correct JD, the descent to FL140 was in steps but was still into the mountains. The msa for SCEL on the airport screen is 9200. I did not have notams ticked the first flight, but on the second flight I had four or five controllers tell me to descend too early and did not get the discretionary descent until I was much closer to the arrival airport.   5. I was flying Ed Force One (Maiden's world tour 752, with singer Bruce Dickinson in the left seat) last night from SAEZ to SCEL. It was dark, I complied with RC's instructions to descend from my cruise altitude of 34000 to FL140 and consequently flew into the east side of the Andes. I reflew the leg today in the daylight, having ticked the notams box. Same thing.....RC would have me decsend to FL140 while still east of the mountains. This time I persisted in maintaining FL340 until the first point on the star. The notams did not kick in until I was close to the IAF. Is this some sort of bug? Does RC not know about the Andes?   6. Problem solved....deleted a line that was added to the panel.cfg file allowing the shockwave nose gear lights to extinguish upon gear up. Now I'll just have to turn 'em off before raising the wheels!!Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!
  7. Rats...I spoke too soon. It's the wing lights I'm seeing, not the landing lights. The landing lights WILL NOT STAY ON!!Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!

  10. Yes I get an audible click with the mouse and the L key works on everything but the landing lights!!Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!
  11. BTW, I also found a fabulous paint from a fellow in Brazil for the Iron Maiden 757,currently on tour with vocalist Bruce Dickinson at the controls!! Now I can complete my VPA Iron Maiden World Tour with a great looking skin!!Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!

  14. I can't get the landing lights to stay on. They shut themselves off as soon as I let go of the switch. I don't have this problem with any other a/c! I'm loading the default flight first with the engine running and I have the lights setup in the sim for pilot control. Any ideas?Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!

  20. I put 'em into the 757 today and they look great.............when they work. I've always had a problem with the lights for this bird. They never showed until today when I landed at RJTT! Before this they didn't light up the runway or show in spot view. I suspect it may be a video card problem?? I just noticed on the Shockwave forum that they are building a library of config files for various a/c. Maybe the 757 will be one of 'em.Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!
  21. Thanks John. They did actually move the one and only time that they worked! And I do always load from the default flight. Funny thing is that the transponder will tune but not the comms!!Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!
  22. I am unable to tune the Comm radios. They are on but the tuning knobs do not move. I know that they work because Radar Contact will tune them.

  24. When flying the A320 with a cost index of 50 I get a nose up attitude of 3-4%. Is that right? Hard to see over the glareshield!Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!
