September 7, 201015 yr Hello all,I was wondering which Flight Planning tool supports exporting flightplans to the new FT v2 EMB-175/195. I currently have FS Commander but would be willing to purchase another if I can create flightplans for exporting to this aircraft (since the default FS Flightplanner doesn't allow SIDs/STARs to be exported through it). Thanks! September 7, 201015 yr Author Nm, I found my answer.Mods please delete. :( Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
September 7, 201015 yr Ark,What did you find?I'm not Ark, but FSBuild works fine... the EMB 170-190 series use the same database and plan format.DJ
September 7, 201015 yr Dj,I also use FSBuild.Which item, in Fsbuild's menu "Export To" list, do you select? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 7, 201015 yr Dj,I also use FSBuild.Which item, in Fsbuild's menu "Export To" list, do you select?Build 2.3.7.6.2 directly supports the ejets - just check the Wilco/Feelthere ERJ/Legacy/EJets entry in the 'Export to...' menu.DJ
September 7, 201015 yr DJ,Have you loaded a flight plan into the EMB175 FMC that was created by FSBuild? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 7, 201015 yr DJ,Have you loaded a flight plan into the EMB175 FMC that was created by FSBuild?I use the fs .pln that FSBuild generates - otherwise, for all the EMB series, you get an 'Invalid waypoint in plan message'. I suspect that it has to do with the departure airport not being the first waypoint in the plan, but have never tried to track it down.DJ
September 7, 201015 yr Dj,Correct. What I found:Fsbuild cannot export a flight plan in a format that can be read by the feelthere's EMBv2 175/195 FMC.This aircraft is not one that is supported by FSbuild for creating route data with fuel requirements, fuel burn and weights. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

I did find a FSBuild profile for the EMB-170 that allows fuel and weights to be calculated but don't vouch for its accuracy. One of these days, I'll create a plan by hand and save it and see if I can figure out the deltas between that and the FSB outputs. I haven't seen a format document for the Feelthere flightplans for these planes. Maybe Scoobie will drop by...DJ
September 8, 201015 yr Author Ark,What did you find?Hey Vaughn,Basically, I used VROute Standard to find a flightplan. I then copy-pasted the coordinates into FS Commander. I then chose SIDs/STARs (even though it is the FS Flightplan) so I can remember their names and what they look like (I always have trouble choosing SIDs/STARs in-game...if somebody has an easy way to choose SIDs/STARs I BEG OF YOU please share it). lolLastly, I load FS9 and choose the runway from the plan I created in FS Commander, and then load the Flightplan through the flightplanner and start the flight. If there is an easier way, I am all ears. :( Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
September 8, 201015 yr Hey Art,Your original post, and the question I was also wondering about, was:"I was wondering which Flight Planning tool supports exporting flight plans to the new FT v2 EMB-175/195."The answer:There are none, that I am aware of.Also, the SID, Star and runway should be added using the EMBv2's FMC. September 14, 201015 yr Build 2.3.7.6.2 directly supports the ejets - just check the Wilco/Feelthere ERJ/Legacy/EJets entry in the 'Export to...' menu.DJTrue enough but there is no entry for them in export directory!
September 14, 201015 yr True enough but there is no entry for them in export directory!****In FSBuild.Top menu.Export ToThen select the Item:Wilco/Feelthere ERJ/Legacy/EjetsThe plan will go to the correct folder for the new FT v2 EMB-175/195 but it is not in a correct format to be read by the new FT v2 EMB-175/195!Also, each aircraft model supported by FSBuild must have its own specific "Performance" file to calculate correct fuel burn/ weights/ etc.For example. The feelthere ERJ-145LR and the Embraer 170-100 are both e-jets and both are supported by FSBuild. But each has specific performance "data" when the flight plan is built. So, FSBuild cannot now be used for new FT v2 EMB-175/195. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
