Freezing on altitude change request

Featured Replies

I'm running RC/FSX over a network with RC on a Win XP machine and FSX on a Win7 64 bit machine. I'm finding the response times on the screen to lag behind the keystrokes and that when I hit 4 or 5 to request an altitude change RC locks up and must be closed. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for the reply JD. I do have display text checked. Will send a log file if it re-occurs.

While searching for the .log file I discovered that I have a botched installation. I moved it from another machine. So the first step will be to reinstall RCV4!

Display text slows RC up considerably. Try it without that checked. The "new" FSUIPC window should show most of what you need.
