ASA goes to task bar

Featured Replies

I have a problem that has happened twice in the last 2 weeks now. When ASA is started, the first screen comes up ok and asks for the FS version that I'm using. Then after it is finished loading the initial information, it minimizes to the task bar. Since I'm using Vista, I can see the main screen in the thumbnail when I hover the mouse over the task bar, but clicking on the ASA title won't bring it back to full screen. The last time it did this, I uninstalled it and reinstalled, but it still wouldn't work until I removed the keys from the registry. Is there any other way to fix this other than removing it from the system, deleting the keys and reinstalling again. This is becoming a pain in the neck if I have to do this on a weekly basis.ThanksRick

Hopefully, I replying correctly but, you can try right clicking the ASA icon on the lower Tool Bar and select OPEN ASA

If you have one of the beta service packs installed then yes right clicking the icon and selecting "restore window" will fix it. This isn't available in the original download product.

Cheers, Andy.

I have the version that was directly downloaded from HiFi 2009-04-16. Version # 11.0.0.316. When I right click on the icon in the task bar there are NO options available. In fact when I do right click on it, it makes the little keyboard in the languages options wink out! This seems strange!Rick

As I clearly said already if you have the original release version you will not have this right click option, you will either have to download the beta version posted at the top of this forum section or you will have to wait for the official service pack to be released.

Cheers, Andy.

I purchased and downloaded ASA, used several times OK, and suddenly it happened the problem related in this thread.-After the inicial screen and the thunder sound, it minimizes to the tray without any posibility of restoring the full screen, double clicking has no effect and no options appear with right clicking.-The program continues running in background.-I uninstalled and reinstalled it with no effect.-Please a solution Thanks
