in the panel cfg folder of an aircraft

While trying to fix a problem with the wing views of my B-22 Super King Air, at the very bottom of the panel.cfg file is the following:[default view]x=0y=0size_x = 8191size_y = 4000Can anyone tell me what does this last section of the panel.cfg pertain to or control? In other words if the value of the x and/or y was changed to another number, what would be changed in the panel view?? Thanks jerrycwo4

[Default View] section: Setting the ViewThis section sets the overall view for the default 3-D window.Variable DescriptionX Specifies the X position of the default 3D window. For example: X = 0Y Specifies the Y position of the default 3D window. For example: Y = 0SIZE_X Specifies the width of the default 3D window. For example: SIZE_X = 8192SIZE_Y Specifies the height of the default 3D window. For example: SIZE_Y = 2500X and Y are the offsets from the corner of the display as I recall.

-------------------------Jerry- Those re NOT the values we've spoken of. To change the wing position, the line you need is VIEW_FWD_RIGHT(left)_EYE= x,y,z. If it is not there, your designers have set the wing position some other way. Have you ensured that in the FS menu line- Views/View Options, all 3 views are EACH set to "cockpit" and not to "virtual" ?-----In some FS default planes, the EYE line is not there and the so called Cockpit View is the same as the Virtual View with wings or window frames at stupid angles. For this situation, you need to use a Hex editor to delete the wings /w.frames. Can't help much here except to suggest searching the forums for "Hex Editor". Or search for "Deleting VC in 2D Side views" Also "How to remove Canopy Frame in un-docked views?"Alex Reid

Alex, Thanks for the time and effort that you put into this matter. No, I don't fly the Aeroworx B-200 King Air in the "COTPIT" mode. I fly it in the "VERTIAL" mode and that's where the engines are pointing straight ahead, when your in the pilot seat and turn your head 90 degrees to the right or left and look out of the "side" window. This is the correct view that one would see in a real aircraft. This presentation doesn't look too bad it's just that I'd like to be about to rotate them in a horizonal direction a little if I could. Thanks again for you time and effort. jerrycwo4

-------------Jerry- the extra (triple mon) views we are displaying- Views L/R Fwd would show nothing but scenery in a real plane. To see a non swept wing, you would need to display Views L/R. Or for a swept jet wing you would also see it in View L/R or even perhaps Views L/R Rear. In effect, we should have 5 monitors to be able to see the wings!!Probably the prop and a bit of nacelle in a GA twin might show in View L/R Fwd but that's about all. View L/R Fwd does Not look sideways. See the attached chart for the FS views arrangement. The Baron 58 screenshot is fairly representative of what would be seen in Views L/R Fwd- except screenies show the images as all being in a flat straight line- my outer monitors of course are angled toward me at about 45
