But you maybe able to fly GPS where the NDB (locations) are used as way point and then fly a radial off of that way point. But then that is not flying using your NDB Signal nor do you even need to be tuned to that NDB. You don't even need an ADF gauge for this.Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
May 6, 200917 yr You can always use the heading hold to fly to the NDB.....but if there's any wind (there always is), you'll get a neat lesson in NDB navigation :(

Maybe we can'tthank's for allbroken
May 7, 200917 yr Hi thank's for responseyes, i know and i'm able to fly with GPS, but in 737 or 747(in the real world) the GPS is not there, military pilots fly with ADF(one of a fly of USAF crash cause the pilot can't follow the ADF correcty in 1994).Most new real world airliners are equipped with GPS. The US Navy even issued hand-held GPSs to F-18 pilots after one of their C-130's crashed in mountainous country..............thanks to a loss of situational awareness. A GPS would have made all the difference. In the US, ADF's are being phased out, and most new aircraft don't even come with one. I'm a real world GPS fanatic. I think and know, that they've made the skies much safer for both pilot and passenger. With 3D synthetic vision, it will only get better! I've used moving map GPS since 1993.L.Adamson
May 7, 200917 yr This is a great site that covers the basics of radio navigation including NDB's. http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/index.htm I've used moving map GPS since 1993Wow, I didn't think such a thing existed back then! It must have cost a fortune I bet.
