ABACUS Try B4 U Buy

Featured Replies

I like what Abacus provides... I don't expect a $60 plane for $9 and with a couple of panel mods I find I can get what I want for little $$$.Sure I'm the first to admit their planes are not the best, but for the money with a panel mod or two they work for me..You get what you pay for... I will not bad mouth a vendor that provides a product that is worth the money... at least I don't have to search the inet for comparable planes... I could and get similar results, but I don't feel they have crappy product, only less expensive products that in my opinion work as advertised.

I used to not like abacus because i bought a CD of add-on planes from back when FS98 was current, and then found the exact same planes available as freware, but I recently gave in to a tempting $10 sale price for their A380v2 at a local store and although this plane has its shortcomings, I ended up liking it a whole lot and I'm glad I spent the $10.At first I thought it was impossible to taxi but then I read a review which noted that you have to take turns very wide just like the real A380 and it worked. The cabin lacks detailed textures and the VC seems compressed in space somehow but there are points about the aircraft that I really like, like the ground service set, the engine sounds and the exterior models...and it flies ok too.
