Hi all, Can i just check - have just purchased the 600/700 addon for P3D V3 When I brake the nose gear tends to dip into the surface be it taxiway or runway. The harder I brake the deeper it goes - there is a little compression but then it drops into the surface. Is this normal? Thanks Scott P.S still enjoy the NG PMDG after the years

Taking the time to post to tell somebody to look at the already existing posts about a topic is pretty poor. Do you get any FPS reduction, or should I assume that there is - and is it noticeable? I am looking at upgrading from my Samsung 1920x1200 24" to something...well bigger? I was looking at the asus as above or the Benq BL3200pt, although that is slightly more pricier - and I may have to sit in a different room to use it! Scott Stephens

Hi all, I am looking at getting a new PC which looks like it will come with WIn 8.1. I know that PMDG have stated they provide no support for Win 8..... I have seen a few posts about the aircraft working with 8.1 but are there any issues? Would I be better trying to get Win 7 Pro or UIt 64 bit if I can? Scott Stephens

Just out of interest - do you wait for the aircraft to and FSX to fully load before touching anything - and I mean anything? Just carried out some quick testing and I found it freezing if I touch any key or button before the '19 seconds?' load is up. Ran the same test 4 times, same location, same load, same setup procedure - I was impatient on the first load and started putting on brakes and lights etc before the countdown finished = freeze on takeoff 2nd time exactly the same setup and I again started setting up before the load was complete= freeze on takeoff 3rd time I thought I would test it by again applying the parking brakes and lights = freeze on takeoff 4th time wait for fully loaded and RAAS announced on runway, same setup FMC etc = no freeze I did not restart the PC, FSX had stalled/frozen after the first 3 and had to be restarted each time but other than that no changes. I know it says to wait for it to fully load before touching anything - might be worth checking to see if you do the same... Scott Stephens

Are you trying to set the .exe (fsx.exe) or the shortcut? Set the .exe to run as admin. Regards Scott Stephens

Ryan,Thanks for taking the time to respond.Whilst I cant disagree that the extra exposure for PM is great, I cannot help but ask if those of us loyal customers that buy online and frequent the forums are subsidising the boxed-for-retail only version of the Queen.I am slightly confused by the suggestion that it is the same product - for $29.95 I am getting a boxed/disk a physical item that must cost extra to produce whereas for an extra $30 I can get a download, even if the price was the same I would pick the disk everytime, less anything ever happen to PMDG and I not be able download or activate (Witness the demise of Phoenix).Please take my observations as just that - I will of course continue to purchase your products and enjoy them, and am looking forward to the NGX, but nonethless feel I am helping to pay extra for something less...Scott

Dear PMDG,was in the process of purchasing the 747X (Download) for $54.99 on the PMDG website when I was alerted to FRYS selling the boxed version for $29.95.Now being in Australia makes it slightly difficult for me to pick-up from my local FRYS.So would it be possible to get some feedback on how they are selling (Boxed) for $25 less than I could pay to download it?I am a great fan of all the PMDG items I have purchased over the years as I have always considered the products to be some of (if not) the best for flightsim - but this would seem quite inequitable...RegardsScott

Hi Team,we are running a LAN at home with FSX.Can connect and fly together and even share cockpits but when we try a mission the client connecting cannot find the host and we cannot connect - go back to free flight and no problems.Any ideas?Scott
