PMDG MD-11, BIG Problems

Featured Replies

So I paid $80 for the PMDG MD-11 for FS9.Had to update to FS9.1 to get it to even install. After installation, no matter what plane I load, flight sim has a problem and "needs to close".Un-installed the MD-11, and everything STILL doesn't work.Am running Windows XP Home EditionAnyone else have a similar experience?Omar Izquierdo

Good day Omar, have you had any hardware changes as well?Try to delete the FS9.cfg. When you next start FS a new FS9.cfg will be created and all settings will be reset.Have you tried to click on "Details" when the error message appears? See if a certain .dll file is mentioned in the error.Regards

It does state fairly clearly that FS9.1 is required for the MD-11 to install. There is no reason not to install the 9.1 patch to be honest... It certainly has no negative effect on performance...Why don't you contact customer support? make sure you get the autoresponse and the ticket number. That way you know that customer support got your request...Andrew
