Carenado 182RG II Altitude Hold?

Featured Replies

how do you set up the altitude hold? i've looked everywhere for a button but i couldn't find one. can anyone help me?

The short answer is you don't. That aircraft has a Cessna autopilot that levels the wings, tracks the heading bug, Nav radio or GPS but does not have pitch control.Robert

Two things you can do:Replace the autopilot by the Carenado Mooney AP (or default Cessna AP if you do not care about the look in the panel)orUse the CTL-A key combo which will work, even though the autopilot does not offer altitude hold.

Use the CTL-A key combo which will work, even though the autopilot does not offer altitude hold.
Make sure that the Autopilot is set to available in the CFG. Then I think it's Control Z for altitude hold.

Oops, CTL-A is Approach mode, CTL-Z is indeed altitude hold :(
