May 30, 200917 yr Hello all, Ive been away from fs9 for some months, been too busy lately but i would like to start with a fresh install of fs9. I want to keep my addons to a minimum so to keep fs9 running good and not gumming it up if you will.My question is what addons you feel are a neccesity to make fs9 look good.Sorry for asking this as im sure it has been asked many times and dont want to post useless stuff, but i just cant seem ti get the search function working for me.Thank you Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

May 30, 200917 yr You make me to remember when I first installed FS9 on my actual machine (almost 2 yrs ago)......... I also installed it with the intention to keep it light. It's useless to say I failed shamefully........ :(
May 30, 200917 yr FS Elemental is a cheap and cheerful way to put a bit of a shine on FS9 globally and doesn't affect frame rates, with better lighting, better clouds, improved airport textures and runway/aircraft lights. Pretty good for the price. Just Flight's FS Terrain, the mesh upgrade that puts things on par with FSX's mesh resolution is a worthy addition too if you fly anywhere other than Holland. That's two I would probably always consider worth putting onto a default FS9 install.Oh, and the Aeroworx B200, no FS9 should be without that.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
