Multiplayer FS9 settings and SB4

Featured Replies

I'm having a senior moment today, while running SB4 and cruising, I spot an aircraft with a red label...I don't want that...I deselected any traffic in FS9 options (no labels etc) but I don't recall what I need to set in multiplayer option (alt menu while in FS9)...I deselected show labels etc in multiplayer, but do I also select disconnect in multiplayer while running SB4?ThanksRich PerryBTW...thanks to all (especially Bob Scott) for assisting me in transitioning FS9/FSX to a new computer with Vista 64 bit...it's been a steep curve (I was a die-hard XP 32-bit fan), but I think I've got it nailed (except the minor things above). One key thing I'll pass on to those about to upgrade, use nHancer 2.5.1 and set/reset the settings (use NickN's tips) ANYTIME you load or reload an Nvidia video driver (2.5.1 for those using 182 or above drivers)...do not use the Nvidia 3D settings and do not use in the game AA setting--use nHancer to setup your video profile. If you uninstall a 182 video driver also uninstall nHancer, reinstall driver, reinstall nHancer and adjust your profile.Intel i7 965 Extreme (turbo clocked from 3.2Ghz to 3.8Ghz) Quad CoreOCZ 6GB DDR3 1800 Mhz RAMNvidia GTX 285 2GB GPU (Nvidia 182.4 driver)VelRaptor 300GB SATA II HD 10000rpmASUS P6T X58 Mobo Intel ChipsetDell 24" 1920x1200 Vista Ultimate 64-bit (SP2)

Hey Rich...you're welcome, and glad you're back from the land of the lost...along with a new planet-killer PC. So what sort of frames are you seeing in FS9/FSX...and do the neighbor's lights dim when you start FS? :( On your question w/r/t acft labels, the settings are in fs9.cfg...replace the parens with square brackets. If the section doesn't exist, just add it:(MULTIPLAYER) ALLOW_NAME_TAG_DISPLAY=0 CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
