June 4, 200917 yr Hey everyone :)I want to combine my love of trains and aviation by planning a train trip to one or maybe two great airports in Europe. I have been recommended Frankfurt and Zurich airport to spend a few days spotting at but was wondering if there were any 'better' airports in Europe that you suggest I visit?Staying in a hotel close to the airport would also be preferable. I will be travelling on my own and am only planning to go on this trip for three or four days in July this year...Any tips/help will be greatly appreciated! Regards,-Alex.

And if you have access to the Internet via a cell or any other device you can tune in to live Schipol ATC radio while spotting / taking pics or videos. You can also stay in Amsterdam which is just a short train ride away from the airport. (I wouldn't waste 3 or 4 days of my time staying near Schiphol). Great museums and great food there.
June 7, 200917 yr Schiphol and many, many more ... http://www.liveatc.net/]/url]For the USA I'm fond of JFK Tower and LAX tower, both of which have controllers with senses of humor....Why isn't this editor parsing URLs?
