MD-11 Passenger Routes

Featured Replies

I'v been flying over the past few months on Vatsim, all the KLM MD-11 routes that I could find as being current (ie bookable at the time of my flying the route on Vatsim)As it is I am coming toward the end of the available routes that KLM run, with only 1 return flight left to do. I am wondering if anyone has all the routes (destinations only is fine) that Finnair are still running with MD-11's and maybe World Airways also (although I know some of their flights arn't exactly... regular, and I'v already flown their Angola one out of Houston "George Bush to The Fourth of February" airports :(Anyone have a good list of the Finnair (especially) routes? I know of Helsinki to Bangkok and maybe to New York also but I'm sure there's one more?I'll list here later all the KLM ones I'v done, but they include Suriname, Curacao, Bonaire, Guyaquil, Quito, Montreal..Otherwise I'll have to start working on Freight ones, which is a much larger project :(Trent

Hi there!Unfortunately the Helsinki New York route is no longer operated with MD 11, but with A330. Surely you can still do it in the sim though. :)Next year all the MD 11s from Finnair will be gone, as they are replaced with A330/A340, and later A350 XWB. Sad indeed. :(I was also sad that KLM is no longer using 747 on the Kuala Lumpur/Jakarta route. I occasionally travel that route and always liked the fact that they use my favourite plane (747-400)

World Airways fly mainly charter flights for the military here are a few of their routes though .KIAH - FNLU WOA1000FNLU - KIAH WOA1001 both are 15 hour flights so they should keep you busy for a while . The flights are for Sonair . Also their military flights operate from Leipzig .EDDP - KDFW WOA8129KATL - EDDP WOA8128and these im not sure on the flight numbersEDDP - OKBKEDDP - UAFMOKBK - EDDPUAFM - EDDPEDDP - KBGRKBGR - KPOBEDDP - PANCJust a few for world not sure what Finnair have left operating now as their retiring their MD-11 fleet i know one is EFHK - VABBOh dont forget to checkout my new Bump texture files for the MD-11 there over on flightsim for now just download my latest Lufthansa cargo paint and the bumps will work with all my cargo paints for FSX .Lee Marrow

I think Finnair have 3? MD-11's left, and I only knew of the route Helsinki - Bangkok. so VABB might be a good one to try out. havn't done the return leg of Bangkok yet either, so that's a good 3 flights to do. A couple of months ago the New York - Helsinki flight was still MD-11, so I'm guessing that's all of them for Finnair :(those other World Airlines flights are a good start too, particularly the non-USA ones as they never come up on FlightAware.

The Flying Tiger Group of Virtual Airlines have extensive classic schedules for Swissair, Alitalia, Delta, KLM and many others. Well worth following up, especially for the Kai Tak approaches. Fun!
