World Airways no longer operate the Houston express or KIAH-FNLU route . World Airways PAX operate Mil charters really and cruise ship charters . Flightaware is a good source for MD11 flights . One they operate regular is EDDP-KATL-KDFW WOA8129 .World also operate cargo flights from Ostend for Allied Air Cargo and operate for Etihad and also now for Fedex to Asia . KLMs MD11s also operate to Miami now and sometimes replace the A330 on the Atlanta route Lee Marrow

They only look the same , the DC-10 has a completely different cockpit different engines is 18ft shorter . Why would you want a VC10 when you can have a 707 or DC8 :(

Hey Terrence hope things are moving along with the release im waiting on the WA2 package . Im not starting any arguments on any matter so im not saying anything else regarding Leens comments . The engines do not have any bump mapping like you say .Like you i love the glossy MD11 the only way i could tone down the gloss was removing all the alpha channels from the bumps and spec files and even then there is still some there . I also noticed that the PW engine tail texture is slightly smaller than the GE engine tail texture . Terrence will we see any wips of the Freighter im looking forward to the F it should look pretty tasty .Lee Marrow

You know what im sick of all this slating of other peoples work , first off if your happy with your sim then good for you now we as painters provide paints for FREE to the community and it can take hours even days to paint . Ive not had one complaint about my latest paints for the MD11 .Also ive been reading in forums that i used McPhat to learn how to make HD textures , what a load of rubbish if you check the CLS forums i made a HD VC texture set for the CLS DC10 about two years ago so why would i need to learn how to make HD i mean its not rocket science . The reason i finished at McPhat was because i have a family with another on the way and painting and moderating forums and so on i just cannot dedicate the time needed to paint when requested , i can only paint when I want too . I like everybody at McPhat Terrence is a great guy and i hope to see the MD11 paints by McPhat because i will be purchasing most of them .Its not Hollywood man its frickin Flightsim , a hobby its not real , im sick of it all to be honest . All the posts about the reasons i left McPhat are utter rubbish . Enjoy my paints that i have done because thats it no more im done im out .... PeaceLee Marrow

I think i will pickup the second package somethings im not sure of though which have already been mentioned like the ooms at 4096 . MD11 wings are flat and smooth there is no arch which the shadow suggests . The reason i did my HD set at 2048 was because of the oom problem . Still they look fantastic i like the guys at McPhat i did spend over 6 months there . They have done a great job and im glad i will still be doing mine though .Nice job McPhat what about the cargos .... Coming soon ?Lee Marrow

Alitalia Pax is on the list i managed to knock out the cargo version but the pax had the Alitalia logo on the wings so it could get interesting . More to come at weekend , hope you like the Combo i use for my flights it should nice and warm .Lee Marrow
