June 9, 200916 yr Dougal,The Pilot Shop at FlightSim.com sells gift certificates in $25 increments. One or more of them can be applied to a purchase and, if necessary, can be combined with a credit card. I've used the service, it works well.

I think this complicates it. I'd have to setup a new/temp email address for him, and supply the last 4 digits of my credit card. Otherwise, I don't think he could reinstall if needed? If you send an email to [email protected] your question will be answered reasonably promptly. They're a reliable operation committed to customer success so I'd be amazed if they don't have some kind of solution in place.
