June 14, 200916 yr Hi,I recently installed the Wilco Airbus A320 series, followed by the FS2Crew package, all with relevant updates. The problem is that I haven't even got as far as pushback before the thing falls over. Usually when I touch the autopilot (esp. the speed dial), but not exclusively that. It even has the cheek to tell me I've run out of memory. Specs of PC follow below. Can someone tell me how to fix this, because I have just spent MORE on these two bits of kit (and don't know which of the two is causing the dramas) than I spent on FSX itself, and can't use it! June 14, 200916 yr Hello Harry,Try making a flight in Africa way from any 3rd party scenery or AI Traffic. You may have a scenery or a landclass or traffic issue.Hi Bryan,Although it didn't crash outright this time, the autopilot knobs still won't work (and flying 3h in a straight line by hand ain't much fun :( ). Is it possible to fix the landclass/traffic issue? The "scenery" in Africa is a bit pants LOLOh, and can I dis-assign the joystick buttons because I have a yoke and quadrant with all the keys assigned already? Cheers,Harry

Cheers,HarryHello Harry,If the autopilot knobs don't work, that means there is something wrong with the plane itself.I would suggest contacting Wilco for support on that one since we can only deal with the flight crew, not the airplane itself. You might want to just try re-installing the plane (use the latest version). If the sim didn't crash because you were in Africa, that suggests a scenery/land class or AI traffic issue is the cause of your CTD.You'll need to identify the culprit scenery, landclass or AI traffic, and that could be tough. In these cases, a clean install of FSX/FS9 might be the only way to go... and then re-install everything slow and test each time. You cannot de-assign a joystick assignment (at least the current Start Center)... however what you can do is just select the bottom assignment (I forget the exact lowest # of possible joystick buttons) and it shouldn't be a problem as it's unlikely your joystick would have that many buttons.Best, B.
