June 14, 200916 yr Commercial Member Hi, the title says it really, I saw a link to them on the main site front page, but the web site here: http://www.sim-savvy.com seems very basic, has no screen shots etc etc and I was a bit unimpressed by that. They do however offer areas I am very interested in and not covered by existing sceneries....Does anyone have the product, can show screenies etc, or give some opinions? Cheers, Mark

June 15, 200916 yr The lack of info is a concern ( does it have autogen, night textures, re aligned default 3D objects, water masking, what res is the source imagery ? ). Looking at the file size it probably no better than 5m resolution, to me the scenery appears to be non color corrected imagery run through resample, and nothing else.

Anyway, i dont think they will be getting any money from me anytime soon ...... I just shelled out for the entire state of washington from megascenery, utah next..... :(

I got a big part of Florida and liked it, but got the San Francisco area and didn't like the heavy color saturation very much. It looked like someone spilled paint everywhere. June 16, 200916 yr Author Commercial Member Hi Bob, I think overall, its a great product. there are some areas where the colours are crap, but most of it is pretty good. Check out any of my screenshot threads here: http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/forum/ind...hp?topic=3349.0 where most have Megascenery and you will see how good it looks. I am questing at the moment to find a way to edit or alter the colour of the tiles, but have had no luck yet. But I really recommend it. Oahu is fantastic, so is Dallas, so is SoCal. most of california is great , particularly the south. Washington looks a bit samey and washed out in places, but you can play with the time of day and haze effects etc to get it looking better. I have read great reports of Utah as well. Its the best scenery out there I reckon. BTW, tip, dont use autogen, it spoils the effect.cheers, Mark
