I'm away from home until thursday so I can't check...Since FSX has traditionally performed much more poorly on ATI cards than Nvidia cards it would be interesting to see if the new drivers at least close the gap somewhat.

Hi JimmiGSorry to disappoint you but I have not seen any improvement with 9.6 drivers and if anything the performance appears to be worse but I have not done any scientific testing.RegardsLufty

No performance improvements over 9.5, but I think they finally solved the occlusion problem which solves the permanently-visible strobe and nav lights when you pan in the VC - now they are obscured by the fuselage and wing. YMMV of course!

mm I was considering a new GFX cardseems the choice between a 4890 and a GTX285 is a no brainer then !pity as in other games the 4890 is cracking for the price
