June 19, 200916 yr Hi:Is there any way to manually control the throttle on approach?, I have read the manual but don't seem to find a way to desconnect the auto-throttle and control it with my actual throttle control (in other words, with my hand). Probably is somewhere in the manual and I missed it since it is as long as an actual aircraft manual.ThanksRaul D.Orlando Fl. Raul San Juan, P.R.. June 19, 200916 yr Yes, map a key assignment to your keyboard using the PMDG options menu within the sim. Look for ATS disconnect and make sure to use a key you don't have assigned to anything else in MSFS or other add-ons. This will allow you to turn off autothrottle (ATS) and control the throttle using your manual axis. Press the ATS off key twice to remove the red box and reset the ATS in case you need to re-engage. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
June 20, 200916 yr The button is on the side of the throttles, but as Chris said above you can map it to a button in the PMDG button assignments option. Jay Vorkapic
