June 24, 200916 yr hi,i'm using FSX and since now i only used packages from WoAI or PAI for "populating" my sky with AI-planes. however, i'm still having problems with my performance when i'm flying to big HUBs like london or frankfurt when i set the sliders of Ai-traffic around or over 50% (frames around 5-10).i'm now thinking about buying a commercial program for Ai-flights. I searched on the net and read some reviews. I guess there are two major AI-simulators for FSX out there. MyTraffic X from Aerosoft and Ultimate Traffic X from Flight1. My question now is: What are the advantages/disadvantages of these two programs when it comes to realism/quality and especially performance? Maybe some of you can give me some advice and tell me there experiences with either one/both of these programs. Any suggestions/opinions are appreciated!thanks in advance! :( chrjs(christopher volle)btw, i forgot, i'm using Windows7, so i hope that's not a problem! I can't even be sure of the publisher, as I am at work. But if you will use the search engine here, and search "AI traffic" or even "AI" or "Traffic" ... you will find a huge number of threads and bundles of thoughts/info. I can't think of any single subject about which more has been written on this forum than your question.Best Wishes, Steve
June 24, 200916 yr I have used all three programs and would have to recommend Ultimate Traffic 2 from Flight 1.MyTrafficX has some nice options as far as the aircraft models and airport updates, but my FPS suffered with alot of traffic and having a Cub flying VFR at 0100 was somewhat UNrealisitic.Traffic X was okay... but I had to edit the flightplans just to get traffic flying out of my local public airport... FPS didn't suffer as much as MyTrafficX but it also has less options than MyTrafficX.Ultimate Traffic 2 has by far been the best experience. FPS hasn't suffered unless every jetway has a jet parked in front of it. There are no VFR flights going on in the middle of the night and traffic follow realistic schedules. The User Interface is also very friendly and has options like a flight board for airport traffic, realtime maps with traffic shown, and it is being updated very regularly and the product support has been spot on so far on their online forums.I highly recommend UT2 over MyTrafficX and Traffic X.
