New AES service

Featured Replies

After installing all of my AES ( Airport Enhancement Service) airports to a new computer I was given a new choice that I had never seen before. I have been using AES ever since it came out a few years ago. After installing Imagine Simulations New Orleans (KMSY) airport I gave it a try with my Level-D 767. Right after I had picked the gate that I wanted to be led too, I was given a choice that I had never seen before:Activate Push Into PositionF1. Select PUSH into positionF2. Select normal TAXI into postionWhere in the world did this come from????? I had already installed and tried AES "equipted" airports, KSEA, KPDX, KSFO, KSAN, KJFK, KBOS and KDEN. None of these ever gave me this new choice. Only after installing New Orleans KMSY did this appear? Any guesses why ???? Thanks, jerrycwo4I do have the very latest "Base Pack" vr 2.02 installed and was flying in FA2004.

Did you select the option? If yes, what happen? I wonder if it is an airport service that is available at KMSY. That of you selected a parking ramp or a Dock by accident. Other than that this is the first time for me to hear about this feature. ...I still have yet to see the de-icing feature in action. :( I wonder what the complete list of available features in all the airports is.

"Push-in" has already been an option in older versions, but only at selected airports and selected gates where normal taxi into position engines running is not possible, but the plane needs to be "towed in". This may be due to closeby loose objects or structures. As far as I know, EDDF had this for a long time in AES.
