June 25, 200916 yr HI allI am running a BETA version windows 7 and have successfully installed PMDG 747 for FS9. I then attempted to install 2 add on liveries. These show in the aircraft folder and are also listed in the correct order in the Aircraft.cfg file but when in FS they are not available as a version only the original PMDG livery. Has anyone had this problem before or know of a work around??? :(

I have both PMDG 737-6/7/8/900 installed with liveries, and I have PMDG 747 with 1 livery and it works. Are you running the install as Admin? Also remember to run FS9 as Admin.posted full name, Derek Rogers Derek RogersPC Specs: Intel i7-4790K 4.6GHz : 16GB RAM : GTX 970 4GB
June 25, 200916 yr I just installed the 747 and the Air New Zealand specifically to test this out and don't have any issues. Using RC1/build 7100.I'd suggest uninstalling the liveries. Then reinstalling, making sure you run them as admin.

I keep getting the out of memory crash so I'm tempted to change OS.ThanksEdd
June 25, 200916 yr Out of interest, what would you say the performance gain is when using W7 over say Vista 32? I keep getting the out of memory crash so I'm tempted to change OS.I haven't used Vista so I'm not sure how much of an improvement, if any, you'd see with W7. Might check over in the general or tech forums, here at AVSIM, I know there are some threads on W7.I did notice a nice performance gain in Windows when going from XP 32 bit to W7 64 bit, but I didn't do any testing with FSX so I'm not sure if there was a gain there or not.
