After making the changes described in the above two threads I still get the flashing.Pat

Just wanted everyone to know. A friend let me try a ATI Radeon HD4850 512meg video card. No more flashing in any setting. I tried all kinds of settings with no flashing whatsoever. I am not sure if it's the increase of ram or what. I want to thank all who tried to help me though this. It was appreciated.Pat Callaghan
