SAITEK Pro Flight Panel Q

This is available in our AVSIM Store.Has anyone purchased this ? any opinion?I am interested in their SDK. I would like to use this for Engine Gauges. RPM. MP, Fuel flow etc. or even as an ADF or VOR. Is that even possible? What I have seen, they only provide for the basic sex pack (Speed, Attitude, Altimeter, VSI, DG and TC).Manny

Two of them arrived in the mail today. :)So far so good. It's really nice being able to watch scenery and not have to pan to the gauges. I think they're best for GA but they also worked on the MD11. I can't wait to try them on the upcoming PMDG J41.I had to install a new usb card because it seemed there were power problems putting them on the same USB controller. Setup was amazing easy. At this point whenever I install something new I expect to have to sacrifice a greased goat with a butter knife.I've had a couple of flights with the MD11, Spitfire and FW190. So far so good.I'm excited about the possibility the SDK has, but I haven't had time to look at it yet obviously.

Manny,I modified the attitude gauge because the divisions were 10 degrees, now they're 5 so this makes the gauge much more friendly on the eyes and for jets. Flew pitch and speed nicely without the VC on the CoolSky MD80.The SDK looks really simple. There's an example .sln file for Visual Studio, probably for the FSX/Gauge interface. Looks like most of the work is done via xml definitions and bitmaps. The xml code basically says put this image here and rotate this other image based on some named FSX parameter. Or perhaps parameter provided by the exe? Either way.Any, looks pretty easy. Which makes sense. Easy to develop means these things will be all over the place. And not just for FSX. I want to put my server performance gauge on one! Note: this is my 5 minute assessment based on hacking an .xml file. Unfortunately I don't have VS but I may get a copy from work to do this.Sorry I'd get whatever docs but it's getting late and I'm booted into Linux right now.
