I have had the same problem since installed GE Pro and figured that somewhere in the process of choosing the startup options my standard splash-screen got overriden with the one you see. So that's why you see this happening although the inhibit splashscreen option is ticked in GE Pro.And all in all that's not a HifiSim or Active Sky related issue.
