747-400

Featured Replies

Hi, I am looking for a good 747-400, free or not, with a functional panel with FMC. Any help would be great. Jim

POSKY 747-400 version 3 is the best. Only thing is it comes with a default panel, so you will have to find a good panel to go with the plane.

For just 10 Pounds you can get the very good PSS 747-400 panel from www.phoenix-simulation.co.ukIt has a functional FMC. It also comes with a decent visual model and excellent flight dynamics. You can merge the POSKY 747 model or the brilliant MelJet one and use them with the PSS panel and flight dynamics.

Anyone here of the company , Perfect Flight 2000? They have a 717 and even a super cobra, helicopter. Anyone have the helicopter? Jim

PSS is also going to release a new Gmax panel and visual for the 744 and the 772. When, I am not sure but it is supposedly coming.Andrew

Don't bother with Perfect Flight. You should beware more than anything. :)Just by looking a the pictures you can see that they do not deliver quality airplanes. If you want proof do a search on "Perfect Flight Refund" in this forum. The best 744's around are as suggested before: POSKY 747-400 (http://www.ProjectOpensky.com), Meljet 747-400 (www.meljet.com), and PSS 747-400.For panels search the AVSim Library.

Jim,Follow Alex's advise..... Regarding the 747, there is no question about PSS regarding the panel. The problem for me is the model, where you can find far more better on Posky or Meljet. They are both greats. The PSS model was done to FS2000, so it lacks the new features from FS2002. In fact somewhere PSS in theire forum told, off the record, that they were doing a new model and panel, full FS2002/2004, GMAX, so hoppefully is going to be the best of all aircraft/panel, as PSS used us.Cheers,Miguel
