July 4, 200916 yr My current HP Media Center PC has moved on to a better life. For the 5 years I had her she ran FS9 great I did try FSX and removed it as it was too slow. So now is the time to move on a get a new setup I am looking at two systems one from HP and one from Jetline both are priced the same.I will be re-installing FS9 and all of my goodies and maybe down the road install FSX. Tell me chich you would choose and why. Also on a side note the Jetline system they say are built for FS they claim FS9 will run excellent and FSX will run good. Thanks in advanceJohnHer are the specs of the HPYour e9150t series-Operating system Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit) edit -Processor Intel JetLine Systems Gravity GT2-Windows 10 Home Edition (64-Bit), NZXT H500 Mid-Tower, Black, Gigabyte Aorus Z390 PRO WIFI, LGA 1151, Intel 9th Gen Core i9 9900K (5.0GHz Turbo) 8 Core / 16 Thread, Corsair Hydro H60 120mm Liquid Cooling, 32GB Corsair DDR4 SDRAM 3000MHz RGB, 12GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, GDDR6, 750 Watt Corsair RM Series Power Supply, 5.1 Channel Realtek Integrated HD Audio, Primary SSD Drive:1TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD), Secondary SSD Drive:2TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD) 4TB WD Black 7200 RPM Mechanical , SimOn Solutions 737 Professional Compact Trainer (MIP, OH). July 4, 200916 yr Buying a dual core at this point in time with any intention other than overclocking the snot out of it makes it a pointless endeavor. The motherboard used in the 2nd build is neither high-performance nor reliable. Go with the first build, or better yet buy the parts yourself and have the ability to overclock for a free performance boost.
July 4, 200916 yr The first list is significantly better (better CPU, mobo)I dont know what the price difference is but Im suprised HP is sticking a Core i7 950 in one of their systems - well doneThe only thing I would change on that HP system is the video card - I'd see if they can give you a GTX260 or 285 in there in place of that Radeon 4850The RAM is a little overkill as well, 6GB kit would be fine. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

July 5, 200916 yr Ugh, I might get the cheapest. then put my own GTX285 in there, assuming the power supply is decent. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
