July 4, 200916 yr I get instructions to taxi to runway X and hold short. There are several taxiways to choose from and I pick one and I am on my way. I suddenly come face-to-face with an aircraft coming the other way. We both stop and stare at each other. I then try to taxi around him but I clip a wing and crash down goes the flight. Is there a way to get rid of that other plane? Frustrating after all the work to get that far..Thanks.John
July 4, 200916 yr the way to get rid of any offending AI in any sittuation is to change the time by a couple of minutes or so. The AI dissapears magically!! Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
July 4, 200916 yr If you have FS9 and a fully registered FSUIPC you can set up a hot key to toggle all AI on or off or another key to zap an AI within I think twenty degrees of your nose. If you downloaded FSUIPC check the regular and advanced manual. I'm not sure if the limited registration provided by RC enables those features.
July 5, 200916 yr Hi,If you use ActiveSky, just can also punch the button to force the refresh AI traffic and they will also magically disappear.Derrick
July 5, 200916 yr Moderator I would also recommend the solution Ronzie suggested providing you have a registered copy of FSUIPC. Zapping one aircraft is preferable to reloading the entire Ai set for the airport.Of course if you don't have a registered copy of FSUIPC then reloading is the only alternative. July 5, 200916 yr The other item you want to pay attention to is "stay right". In other words if there are two parallel taxiways outbound aircraft are generally on the one closest to the "terminal" and inbound traffic (that traffic exiting the runways) uses the taxiway closest to the runway. As to crossing taxiways you just have to be alert to the traffic around you. I usually use a top-down view in a window to monitor traffic as I taxi.JoeM Current Mission: Various IVAO Division VFR Tours Most Recently Completed Mission: World Tour 2011
