July 5, 200916 yr I suspect the issue is to do with vista updates, cause i never had this issue in early days of my new vista64 (i7920 gtx285)pc.I have reinstalled vista and FSX, and so far no issues, but very early days yet.So this is a headsUp for all vista64 simmers, be very carefull with all those windows updates, seems something there is causing screen curruption issues in FSX.The screen curruption happens when you access FSX, when you exit the menu, FSX screen becomes currpted, with funny image on screen
July 5, 200916 yr I'm running FSX SP2 on Vista64. I've installed all Windows Updates, except IE 8. I'm running nVIDIA 186.18 drivers.I don't have any problems with "screen corruption".How did you come to the conclusion that this is a Vista64 problem? And not a problem with your RAM, your GTX285 card, some FSX add on, or ???

I have done some AI watching but not actually made a flight.

July 6, 200916 yr For the record, for posterity, and for this thread :) I *have* gotten visual anomalies using the 185.xx driver and the following hardw/softw combo:Vista64 with all updates/SP's (fresh install), 185.xx nVidia driver on a BFG 8800GTX card, E8500 at stocker speed, Patriot DDR3 1600 at default timings and speed at the moment, and default BufferPools setting (no entry in the cfg is default), and TBM at default for my PerfBucket (which is 40).
