Ok, here's the scenario:Created flight plan in fsx and named it in the correct format.imported flight plansetup fmc with required info yadayadayadeparted using fsx atc so used heading and prof with atc defined upper limmits - all good so farreached last waypoint before arrival airport and was vetored for ILS by FSX atcCheckked dep/appr on fmc and selected star>runway 03L ILS (runway as instructed by FS atc)STAR was left blank because I did not have a chart and did not know what transition to usevectored to final - about to intercept ILS localiser - selected approachchecked vref on FMC - NO vref speeds!Set speed manually and pulled the knobintercepted localiser and GS - full autoland but had to control speed manuallyWhat happened to the fmc vref? am I missing somthingPaul Yates

Please sign your name to posts in this forum.I think the approach speeds should have been available when you LAT REV the approach into the flight plan. By any chance did you select LAT REV from a fix prior to the destination or did you do it from the destination, which might explain the problem.

I selected the LAT REV from the last position (VOR) prior to the destination. Note that I had passed that point before using it as a LAT REV as FSX atc did not start descent and vectors until after the last VOR in the flight plan.Paul Yates

I'm not sure what happened to your ref speeds... however, note the FMS manual page 60.3 "FMS SPD will provide speed targets during the approach if engaged." You mentioned you used manual throttle after not seeing the Vref speed marks but maybe this is a clue? Don't know... I haven't had this problem myself.

This may be a case of RTFM, will try to recreate the issue if it differs from the manual. (I'm a sofware test manager so expect me to eat humble pie)
