This might be a good thing to check. If it's not, I have no idea!James Lunsford James Lunsford
July 12, 200916 yr hello, i am not exactly sure what you are requesting, personally i have the pmdg keyboard assignments loaded into FSUIPC and into ch products yoke, if you are using the keyboard i think you will have to refer to the pmdg keyboard assignments and make sure the keystrokes correspond with the FS assignments page and alter the keystrokes accordingly. hope this helps. richard welsh Richard Welsh

July 13, 200916 yr You can shift the on-screen CDU into keyboard mode by clicking in the dark rectangle to the right of the keyboard. The bottom right line with annuciate KYBD in this mode. There is not a known bug with using the keyboard, default functions such as views and gear, brakes, etc., should work. Other pmdg commands are available in the keycommand menu. I've no idea what your problem might be from the problem description. Dan Downs KCRP

What is strange is that if I select the microsoft menus and make changes to configuration, the keyboard works. It is only not working once the PMDG aircraft is present
July 14, 200916 yr What keystroke(s) is/are not working? The whole keyboard does not work once the 737 NG is active. If I select fsuipc from the menu then I can type values. Likewise anything else from the microsoft outer window menus ie file, views, help etcRgdsMike
July 14, 200916 yr Normally, the only thing in the 737 sim that intercepts keyboard is the CDU when it has keyboard enabled. However, it will not prevent another program that gains focus such as FSUIPC or the MSFS map from keyboard I/O. This is why several suggestions have been made to check the keyboard active/inactive status for your CDU. If it has KYBD showing on the bottom right of the display, then that is the reason. If not, then I recommend you send an email to pmdg support (be sure to get an automated reply) for their advice. Dan Downs KCRP
July 21, 200916 yr For anyone who searches this link with a similar issue, I fixed the problem eventually by going back to a reinstall of MSFS 2004. However, during the reinstallation steps, I did briefly encounter a similar problem which was cured by replacing the FSUIPC dll.
