July 13, 200916 yr Hey, I wanted to add more realism when flying with my friend.I know you have to file papers such as Flight planing forum, etc.If you guys know what papers are need to file for a flight, can you please list the names such as NOTAMS.-Vincent
July 14, 200916 yr I don't understand the question. If you want to fly using an ATC simulation like VATSIM, then you would be coordinating your flight through them; otherwise, there are no "flight plan filing."If you want to fly realistic routes just like the big guys, then you get those for the US from flightaware.com.In the real world, filing a flight plan is done a number of ways. If you are an airline pilot then dispatch does it for you. If you are corporate/private then there is either a web site DUATS where flight plans can be filed or you can do it the old fashion way and call FSS. Regardless of how or what you filed, your actual flight plan is the one you obtain from ATC via clearance delivery or FSS. There is limited ATC simulation in the flight sim world today.Lots of folks like RadarContact, which has its advantages. If I totally missed your question, please rephrase it. I'm a little slow.
