Alex, (or anyone else) As you know I have to reset the views on my side ( left and right) monitors each time that I fly. It is a little time consuming and hard to get "perfect" each time. The question is, when I set a certain view (VC) on either my left or right monitor, does it "log" a certain number in a ".cfg" somewhere ? If I could find this certain number then I could use it to get the SAME, PERFECT view everytime, before I start my flight. This would probaly be in some .cfg that records the "eyepoint views or something tlike that. Anyone know where these figures are logged? Thanks jerrycwo4PS a second question, PLEASE. Isn't there a way to SLOW DOWN the speed when you are PANNING a view? How and where do you change this number? Thanks jerrycwo4

HelloIf you open up your FS9 cfg and scroll down, you will come to....PAN RATE=400...try reducing this to 350 or 200 or experiment it definitely will slow down your panning.cheers Andy

Jerry- Once you get a plane setup with which you are happy, save that flight. Next time go to Select a Flight and use that one. If you wish, once you have selected, you can then change that setup to a different airport/runway/time of day/weather- but the original saved flight configuration remains. You may do a little tweak/dragging here and there- a saved flight won't reopen exactly same- but it does reopen 98% the way you saved it!---------------You showed a pic of your setup, earlier today- now I can't find it. Deleted by moderator?Anyway, the 2 outside views looked to me as if they are View Left & View Right- as if you are looking out a side window- 90

Thanks to both of you for your replies. The panning speed.... problem fixed ( I think). After a lot of trouble I had to call the "maker" of my computer(Jetline) and ask where he "hid" the fs9.cfg. As it turned out, it was one of those"show hidden files" window problems. When I finally found it, the PAN was set to 400. I changed it to 5. Yes 5, not 50 or 500. Now I can pan very, very slowly and stop the changing view anywhere I want to. Alex, I have not had time to try your suggestion of using the "number keys" to set my views. I have tried the "save this flight" trick, but it did NOT save my RIGHT and LEFT views as I had them set in the last flight. I have to reset the views before EVERY flight.Alex, you are correct. On my RIGHT and LEFT monitors I am using the LEFT and RIGHT VC Views. I've tried the Right and Left COTPIT views and on some aircraft showing any part of the aircraft in the views causes flickering. This is a personal choice, but at this time I perfer only seeing scenery out of my RIGHT and LEFT monitor. ( I guess the administrator took my photo of my views off, but left yours on ?? ). The 1st photo of my 3 monitors was NOT a very good sample of how good my views line up. Now I can line them up so that an object, smoothly passes from one monitor to another. I get a better sample of it and post it later. As again, thank you for your ideas and replies. jerrycwo4
