TRACK IR 5

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I just picked this up and I like it but it's gonna take some getting used to. One question I had for anyone using Track IR 5 , is say with the PMDG 747 in FSX. How do I adjust the movement so that I can sort of scootch my head over and put my viewpoint at center of the overhead ? Right now when I look up and right a lil I get the whole overhead but some of the far switches are small and hard to get at. Thanks

I dont have it (yet hehe) but can you move closer to the monitor? Wouldn't that zoom in?

Yes you are correct it would zoom in. My problem originates with the Z access on TrackIR or what would commonly be known as "slide" to the right. With this contraption I should be able to have my sensitivity turned up on the slide action to the right so I could see the overhead centered. And leave the sensitivity normal on the panned but don't know how.

I've had this unit for about a month now and I really like. You have to make sure the Trackir is placed in the correct position on your monitor. F12 centers the view based on your view direction.Remember you can tilt your head and also move forward and backward.
