August 2, 200916 yr I installed the B737-800/900 from PMDG and since then every time I try to insert an airport (any) on the FMS POS INIT page or ROUTE page I get the NOT IN DATA BASE message, anyone knows how to fix that?
August 3, 200916 yr Sounds like some kind of Navdata problem. Did you look in the FMCWP folder if theres something missing? Maybe the APT.txt or so...
August 3, 200916 yr There are only 5 text documents on that folder, what else should it be there?, and on the PMDG SIDSTARS folder are just about all the text documents for the airports
August 3, 200916 yr The files in FMCWP/NAVDATA folder is the database (the files in the SIDSTARS folders are the terminal procedures). So if it says not in database for anything you try then we gotta make sure you have a database. More info on these files here: http://ops.precisionmanuals.com/wiki/SIDSTARS and here: http://ops.precisionmanuals.com/wiki/NAVDATA_Data_DictionaryDid everything work before you added the 800/900 upgrade?Verify you are using four-letter ICAO codes for airports (you didn't mention so I gotta ask, sorry). August 3, 200916 yr Thank's Dan I checked the folders and it seems all the files are there, but for some reason it's not working, something is missing somewhere, and yes everything was working fine before I added 800/900 in fact since I'm on training I was using it for practiceRegards capsema
August 3, 200916 yr If it's the 0908 airac I just had a similar problem - Err 26b line 127....Seems there is a Rev5 on the Navigraph site now, I was on Rev2John Ellison
August 3, 200916 yr Maybe, I have 0908 Rev 2... just tried a KIAH/KPHX route without problem. However, I will get the latest revision.I can't think of anything else, if the files are there in good shape and a valid ICAO is entered then the not in database error message is unexpected. Dan Downs KCRP

Shame as I was trying to see if that vertical seesaw thread was the looking at the fs menu, but it wasn't. Mine's rock solid.Works ok with Rev5 anyway. Now I have to add the other sidstars as well lol. What with that and pc memory problems tis a grand week grrr.John Ellison
August 4, 200916 yr :( Ok, problem solved, I used the removal tool from PMDG and then reinstalled back the 700 and 800 and everything got back to normal, thank you all for your coments, they helped a lot me to learn more, and thank's to the Manager Customer/Technical Support at Precision Manuals who helped me to solve the problem :(
August 4, 200916 yr Hurray and thanks for reporting back the solution. You've helped someone who will run into this in the future. Dan Downs KCRP
