August 9, 200916 yr I searched the forums but can't find anything on this:When landing or taking off on certain runways the aircraft bobs up and down like I'm taking off in a parking lot full of speed bumps; this causes FS9 to detect a crash. It's not every runway, actually it's quite rare. It has happened at the following airports Naples, Singapore, Rome, and Bangladesh (can't remember the exact airport). It happens with all my aircraft PMDG 737s, 747(F), MD-11, and the LDS 767, but the 747 is the only one that ends up crashing. All of the others only induce motion sickness. :( The most recent was RWY 24 at Naples, and by crashing I mean death and destruction, not an OOM or BSOD.I 'm using:FS9all PMDG aircraft (minus the beechcraft)LDS 767Ground environment proflight environment real environment profsglobal 2008Ultimate TrafficRadar ContactActive Sky 6.5 Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
August 9, 200916 yr Commercial Member Hi Dan,Do a search on here for 'Bitumas Runways' on this forum, they are very rare but they are out there and the PMDG 747 doesn't like them.Your best fix is to downlad AFCAD from the library and change the surface yourself., it's very easy to do, just change it to asphalt or concrete and save. CheersRob Rob Prest
August 9, 200916 yr You'll find that LIRF is another one too. As above, quite easy to change the surface... and frequencies as well if you so desire.John Ellison
August 9, 200916 yr Author Thanks Guys. "Bitumas", why didn't I think to search for that? :( It's probably Ultimate Traffics fault as it downloads AFCADs for airline placement. I'll update it first (it's been awhile), then I'll change the AFCAD if option A is a bust. Thanks again!! Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
