Yes, it runs fine, and many still prefer XP. I'm still running XP 32 bit OS.Some prefer 64 bit OS, whether XP or Win7, etc. I still have programs where this may be an issue, so I've remained with 32 bit at this time. As I understand, 64 bit can increase your performance, but I cannot speak to this personally.What computer are you talking about? The graphics card is dependent on what type of mother board you have, and also what processor you might be running. In other words, as I understand, it may only be wise to use one of the newest graphic cards with one of the newest processors, as the 'return' on performance is still so much dependent on processor power.

A lot of FS add-ons are specifically for XP and FSX runs just fine on it. FSX can be a little quicker on Vista, but generally speaking XP is not going to cause you any problems.Al

winXP isn't the limiting factor to using FSX. the 'limiters' are:CPUvideocardmemory (both motherboard's and videocard's)front side bus of motherboardto some extent the speed and type of hard disk--
