August 15, 200916 yr Have always wanted to add some GA traffic to the small empty airports in FSX. Are there any products that allow adding static GA aircraft to the empty airports [and they actually work] ? Thanks.
August 15, 200916 yr Static usually means that a plane sits there and never moves. There is software that will add that. ADE for one (free). There are also addon traffic programs that will add GA traffic to many airports.Or (my choice) you can write your own traffic files for airports that are of intrest to you. AIFP will help you with that.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
August 15, 200916 yr Bob, could you tell me what "ADE" stands for, also "AIPF" so I can try to find them?

August 15, 200916 yr mike3231Sorry. I had to leave before I could give more complete answers. Both of those programs have a bit of a learning curve to them. But they can be a lot of fun. To add traffic to an airport, there must first be parking. Many smaller airports do not have any. ADE will help you find out if there is parking and help add it if needed.AIFP will help you write flightplans for those airports.Give us a little more info on your interest in FSX and we can steer you in a different direction if you don't want to do these things yourself. It's a lot of fun, though, and you learn much about the sim.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
August 16, 200916 yr There should be an Ultimate Traffic II just for GA.Flight1 has the 'Heli Traffic 2009' product now.
August 16, 200916 yr There's Markus Brunner's GA-Traffic for FSX which can be used to populate the small fields with varying degrees of activity. AI GA aircraft for FS9 can be utilzed, if the textures display OK. And the props, too! Still the best alternative IMO for setting up realistic GA flights on a broad scale. Disclaimer: I haven't worked with it for a while.
