I am contemplating an install of FSX on the same hard drive where my FS2004 resides. Any downside to this approach?Dom

Nope: They are two separate applications, Dom, but you will need space..... there was an "FSX size?" survey done here a few months ago. Mine comes in at 42.6 gig, plus the many addons like REX, ASA, FSBuild, Radar Contact, UTX, GEX - to mention only six - all of which take up lots of additional space on that or some other drive. :(

Space is a good one. I have FSX installed plus REX2, and it's about 23,7GB. I still need to fill it up with scenery and aircraft...
