June 7, 200322 yr If you have a long flight tnad want to pause FS at a location, how does anyone do that? I know that the DF B737 offers this in the FMC, and RC2 also offers something similar as an option. Just wondering how you all do this.Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
June 7, 200322 yr Do you want to exit FS and resume the flight later? 2 options.Save the current flight. The next time you enter FS pick the saved flight as your starting point.Exit FS. The next time you enter FS pick "This is where you last left FS" as your starting point. Obviously this would only work if you have not flown in the interim.
June 7, 200322 yr Hello Bruce,A file called fspauser_10.zip by Florian Praxmarer is available since yesterday here on AVSIM in the FS2002 Utilities section. It does right that: pause fs when within 10 nm of a waypoint (VOR, Fix etc.). You just enter the coordinates of the desired waypoint in your flightplan and it will pause fs when you arrive at it. It can also pause fs when your plane deviates from a fixed altitude (you set max and min altitude allowed), when you deviate from a certain speed (you set max and min IAS), or when a malfunction occurs. Here is the link http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=31500. If the link does not work, do a search on fspauser in the FS2002 Utilities section.Cheers,J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
