August 28, 200916 yr UT2 has to scan it's SQLLite database periodically (and in response to events in FSX) to work out the AI to inject into FSX. That element should be transportable if you are willing to put in the work to do so. The database effort costs something, but I can't say how much and I imagine the effect is not so noticable on multicore machines with good quantities of RAM. I remember that allocating UT2 to something other than cpu core 0 (which is critical to FSX) to be helpful. If you are using othe traffic packages, FSX has to scan it's own "BGL" database in a similar fashion, so you may be no worse off.SimonFrom reading this, it sounds like having it on another client rig will probably offer little if I build a I7 rig with 6 GB of cl6 RAM. What will offer something is if I import all of the separate traffic bgls (custom stuff, WofAI, Military, GA...) in to UT2, set UT2 on a different core than FSX and have no traffic bgls in FSX. That way FSX will not have to access any traffic BGLs - all traffic will be handled on a different core than FSX.
